In 1990, at the time of an economic slump and on the initiative of my father, Roland Chayla, we replied to an advertisement from a regional group wishing to lease its estate agency in Carcassonne. In 1991, after a year of unrelenting effort to re-establish the reputation of this abandoned business and just as our efforts were beginning to bear fruit, our “agent” decided to close down its Carcassonne branch.

By this time, we had become so involved and interested in this fascinating business that we decided to continue with our investment, despite almost exhausted capital reserves and the pessimistic advice of those around us. Determined and motivated, we went on to open our first agency at 76, allée d’Iéna (our current Head Office) in May of the same year.

Many years of investment later, both financial and human, and due to rigorous management and continuous innovation in communication technology, we have been able to create a network of 5 agencies within the department and to become leaders in our market.

17 years’ experience, a multilingual team, agencies with up-to-the-minute technology, properties shown on plasma screens, exposure on several dozens of Internet sites, broad-based and carefully-planned advertising, expert knowledge of the property market and acknowledged professionalism and efficiency are just some of the services we offer to our clients.

As a founding member of the Carcassonne FFIP group (Fichier Français Immobilier des Professionnels), we share this mark of quality with other well-known estate agencies by working together on a certain number of properties.

We are known nationally within our profession (www.guidecouder.com) and our European and international links grow daily.

Our wide portfolio includes all types of property (houses, country properties, apartments, pieces of land, businesses…) both for sale or for rent. Our rental management service is rigorous in providing landlords with all necessary guarantees (insurance against unpaid rents, etc).
